"ANTODAYA" has been involved with land alienation issue prior to its formation. It helped the poor tribals of Thuamul Rampur block to restore around two hundred acres of land from the powerful money landing groups.

Another major issue supported by ANTODAYA has enabled the poor tribal women to gain access over their natural resources through bitter struggle.

The major objective of ANTODAYA is to reduce the food stress faced by the poverty-ridden tribal and dalit community of the area. There were many starvation-related deaths prior to the intervention of the organization.

ANTODAYA has been trying to give special importance to the process of empowerment of women and mobilizing them by ensuring their participation in all programs. Special strategy has been put in motion to appoint women animators in selected programs and groom them as leaders.
